American Water CEO Participates in National Association of Regulatory Utility Commissioners Summer Meetings

VOORHEES, N.J.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Jeff Sterba, president and chief executive officer of American Water Works Company, Inc. (NYSE: AWK), the largest publicly traded U.S. water and wastewater utility company, today participated in the National Association of Regulatory Utility Commissioners (NARUC) Summer Committee Meetings. The meetings, which were held July 17-20 in Los Angeles, have been organized to discuss infrastructure safety, the growing global demand for energy, new environmental regulations, and broadband expansion.

Sterba served on a panel of leaders and experts discussing the financing challenges of replacing and upgrading our nation's infrastructure.
