American Water's Mark LeChevallier to Give Keynote Address at Water Innovations Alliance Conference

VOORHEES, N.J., Sep 10, 2009 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- American Water Works Company, Inc. (NYSE:AWK), the largest investor-owned U.S. water and wastewater utility company, today announced Dr. Mark LeChevallier, Director of Innovation and Environmental Stewardship, will present a keynote address at the inaugural Water Innovations Alliance conference in Chicago on September 10, 2009. LeChevallier will discuss the challenges and opportunities in developing innovations for the water industry and unveil American Water's new Innovation Development Process.
