Mr. Correll spent 25 years with United Water Resources, a leading investor-owned water services company, where he served as chairman, president and CEO from 1991 through 2001. Under his direction, the company's market capitalization increased from $400 million to $1.8 billion and its revenue base grew from $150 million to $500 million. He is also credited with expanding the United Water customer base from 1 million in two states to 7.5 million in 19 states.
Mr. Correll is currently the President of the National Association of Water Companies (NAWC), and serves on the boards of a variety of civic, professional and business organizations, including the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, the Environmental Financial Advisory Board of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and the National Association of Water Companies. In addition, he is a member of the board of directors of HealthSouth Corporation and New Jersey Resources.
Mr. Correll is a graduate of The Pennsylvania State University and New York University, where he earned a bachelor's degree in accounting, and master's in business administration in finance, respectively. John S. Young
President of American Water Services and American Water Works Service Company
John S. Young serves in the dual role as president of both American Water Services and American Water Works Service Company. In these positions, Mr. Young works to align the organization's capabilities to support various growth opportunities, leads multiple operational functions and leads the business transformation of the company's information technology effort.
Mr. Young previously served as chief operating officer, where he had direct responsibility for companywide operations and delivery of financial and operating performance, while establishing a balance between the company's immediate business goals and long-term vision. He was also responsible for all activities related to the company's national customer service centers and process performance.
Mr. Young began his career with American Water in 1977 and has held a variety of operations, engineering and executive positions, including vice president of Operations and Investment Performance, vice president of Engineering and vice president of Technical Services.

Ellen C. Wolf
Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer
Ellen C. Wolf is senior vice president and chief financial officer (CFO) of American Water, the largest investor-owned U.S. water and wastewater utility company. Ms. Wolf has responsibility for all financial functions, including directing and coordinating all company financial objectives and obligations, ensuring the integrity of financial statements, developing budgets for both annual and interim periods, developing cash management investment strategies, maintaining a financially solvent organization, and leading the Sarbanes-Oxley compliance implementation project.
Prior to re-joining American Water, Ms. Wolf served as senior vice president and CFO of USEC Inc., a global energy company, a position she held since December 2003. In this role, Ms. Wolf oversaw all financial functions and was an active member of USEC's Business Conduct Committee and Benefits Administration Committee, and chaired the Benefits Investment Committee.
From 1999-2003, Ms. Wolf was employed by American Water as vice president and CFO. Over the course of her tenure, her responsibilities included finance, corporate accounting, internal audit, information technology services and customer services.
Ms. Wolf's career began with the accounting firm of Deloitte Haskins & Sells. After leaving Deloitte Haskins & Sells, from 1987-1999, she held various positions with increasing responsibility in corporate accounting, finance and business development for Bell Atlantic and several of its subsidiaries, including Bell Atlantic Enterprises International, Bell Atlantic NYNEX Mobile and Bell Atlantic Corp.
Ms. Wolf received a bachelor's degree from Duke University and a master's in business administration from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. She was named the "2009 CFO of the Year" by the Philadelphia Business Journal, a recipient of the "50 Key Women in Energy Awards in 2001" for her leadership and recognized by South Jersey Magazine as one of South Jersey's "Top Business Women" in 2008, which highlights South Jersey's brightest, most inspirational and accomplished area women. Emily Ashworth is vice president and chief information officer of American Water. In this critical role, Ms. Ashworth is responsible for developing and implementing information technology services (ITS) strategies. With CSC, Ms. Ashworth led the first enterprise architecture development effort in the federal government for the IRS Modernization program. She has managed ERP system integration programs in both manufacturing as well as financial services and has managed change management initiatives preparing operations in 14 countries for the deployment of 8 new enterprise systems.
Prior to joining CSC, Ms. Ashworth served as an area director of Business Process Integration for Pulte Homes, managing business process and system alignment, system design, development and deployment. She has also held positions with Westinghouse Power Generation Corp., SuperVision International and the U.S. Naval Air Warfare Systems Simulation Training Division.

Walter Lynch

Walter Lynch is president of regulated operations for American Water, the largest investor-owned U.S. water and wastewater utility company. In this role, Mr. Lynch is responsible for the successful performance of American Water's 20 regulated states, serving approximately 1,625 communities. All of the state presidents report to him. In addition, Mr. Lynch leads the company's two national customer call centers.
Mr. Lynch previously served as the executive vice president of Business Operations for the company's Eastern Division. He was responsible for all aspects of service delivery, business development and sales and marketing. Prior to that, he spent a number of years in the solid waste and residuals business, where he led successful start-ups and high-growth organizations. He also worked for Mobil Oil Corp.

He continues as an independent director and audit committee chair of MYR Group, Inc. (NASDAQ: MYRG), a specialty construction contractor serving the electric infrastructure markets.
From 2005 through mid-2008, Mr. Patterson served as senior vice president and chief financial officer of Pennichuck Corporation, an investor-owned water utility holding company. Mr. Patterson's experience also includes nearly 20 years of work within the investment banking industry, serving in senior positions at E.F. Hutton, Shearson Lehman and Smith Barney, where he was managing director and co-head of the corporate finance department's regulated utilities practice.

Mark Strauss is president of American Water Enterprises, the non-regulated products and services division of American Water.
In his position, Mr. Strauss oversees American Water's non-regulated business units that offer operations and maintenance contract services across the United States and Canada, including design, construction and operation of community onsite water and wastewater systems, service-line protection programs, water and wastewater management for military bases, and other innovative solutions that address a variety of challenges facing the industry.
Prior to this appointment, Mr. Strauss was president and chief executive officer of Applied Water Management Group, American Water's only fully-integrated water and wastewater infrastructure design, build, finance, own and operate affiliate, which provides customized water and wastewater management solutions to real estate developers, industrial clients, and small to midsized communities nationwide. During his tenure, Mr. Strauss was credited with bringing to fruition projects that include the Solaire in New York City, the nation's first on-site water recycling system built inside a multi-family residential building, to winning the Governor's Environmental Excellence Award for a water reclamation project in New Jersey.
Mr. Strauss joined American Water's Applied Water Management Group in 1997 as corporate counsel and secretary. He was promoted to the position of chief operating officer in 2002, a position he held until his appointment as division president and chief executive officer in 2003.
Prior to that, he had been with Vizzoni Brothers Construction, Inc. as vice president and general counsel. Mr. Strauss was an associate/junior partner at the law firm of Ozzard, Rizzolo, Klein, Mauro & Savo, and an Associate at the law firm of Toolan, Romond, Abbot and Domenichetti.

Robert MacLean
President, California American Water
Robert MacLean was recently named the president of California American Water, which provides high-quality and reliable water and/or wastewater services to more than 600,000 people. In this role, he reinforces and strengthens customer, regulatory and local government relationships, drives operational and financial results, and is the principal external contact for American Water in California.
Mr. MacLean has been with American Water since 2001. Prior to his new position, he was the director of Field Operations for New Jersey American Water, the largest investor-owned water utility in the state, providing high-quality and reliable water and/or wastewater to approximately 2.5 million people. In this role, Mr. MacLean was responsible for all customer field service operations including transmission and distribution activities and field construction in northern New Jersey. He oversaw 280 employees in various locations across the state.
As part of this management role, Mr. MacLean was also responsible for managing union relationships and was part of the core team that successfully completed labor negotiations with the company's largest union representing 250 employees in February 2009. Mr. MacLean's leadership helped the company reach a three-year agreement, which is fair and equitable to employees, ratepayers and the company.
Mr. MacLean also served as the director of Network for New Jersey American Water, where he was responsible for the management of the transmission and distribution and sewer collection systems for the company. This included over 8,000 miles of water main ranging in size from 2 to 72 inches, over 40,000 fire hydrants and 170,000 system valves. In this role, he led the effort to achieve regulatory compliance with preventative maintenance activities in the distribution system and improve customer service.
Prior to joining New Jersey American Water, Mr. MacLean served in various other roles within the American Water organization. He worked for the Non-regulated business of American Water, serving as vice president of Contract Operations. In this role, Mr. MacLean was responsible for managing more than thirty large contract operations ranging in value from $30,000 to $13 million per year and directed approximately 750 employees in both the United States and Canada. He was responsible for drinking water production to over 4 million people through several of the company's largest and most sophisticated treatment facilities and for wastewater services to 1.8 million people
Mr. MacLean earned his master's in Applied Science in Civil Engineering from Polytechnique University in Montreal and his bachelor's in Chemical Engineering from McGill University in Montreal. He resides in the San Diego area. He is married, his wife emigrated from Turkey as a young adult and became a U.S. Citizen in 2004. She is currently employed by the United Nations.

William R. Walsh

William R. Walsh serves in the dual role as president of Virginia American Water and Maryland American Water. In this role, Mr. Walsh is the principal external contact for American Water in Virginia and Maryland and dedicates significant time and energy to building and maintaining relationships with state and local officials, regulators and customers.
Mr. Walsh is an experienced professional with more than 24 years in water utility operations and management. He joined American Water in 1984 and has held increasingly responsible positions, including vice president of Virginia American Water and general manager and network superintendent for Virginia American Water and Maryland American Water, where he managed operations for both subsidiaries.
Prior to joining American Water, Mr. Walsh was a teacher at the Maryland Drafting Institute, where he taught Architectural, Mechanical and Engineering Drafting, as well as Technical Illustration programs. During his tenure, he advanced to training supervisor, where he was responsible for course development and oversight of the teaching staff.

Karla Olson Teasley is president of Illinois American Water, the largest investor-owned water utility in the state, providing high-quality and reliable water and/or wastewater services to more than 1.2 million people. In this role, Ms. Teasley reinforces and strengthens customer, regulatory and local government relationships, drives operational and financial results and is the principal external contact for American Water in Illinois.
Ms. Teasley brought to Illinois American Water more than 17 years of experience in the water industry. Prior to joining American Water, Ms. Teasley was vice president of Louisville Water Co. in Kentucky. In this role, Ms. Teasley was responsible for all customer contact functions, as well as business development, capital budget and infrastructure planning, and pipeline design and construction.
Earlier, Ms. Teasley served as vice president and general counsel of Florida Water Services (aka Southern States Utilities, Inc.), providing in-house legal services, with heavy involvement in regulatory affairs and business development activities.
Ms. Teasley serves on the Board of the Leadership Council of Southwestern Illinois, the Illinois Manufacturers' Association and is also a member of the Board and Executive Committee of the Illinois Chamber of Commerce. She serves on the Resource Board of the Metropolitan Planning Council and is a member of the Illinois Business Roundtable, the American Water Works Association (Illinois Section) and the American Bar Association.
Ms. Teasley earned her law degree from University of Minnesota Law School and completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Wisconsin - Eau Claire.

William M. Varley

William M. Varley is president of Long Island American Water, the largest water supplier in Nassau County, providing high-quality and reliable water services to more than 200,000 people. Mr. Varley previously served as vice president and manager of Long Island American Water, as well as vice president of Business Development for New Jersey and New York. Prior to that position, he was the operations manager for the Production Department, responsible for maintaining a 70-million-gallons-per-day source of supply.
Prior to joining American Water in 2000, Mr. Varley was the district manager for Layne Christensen Co., a large water supply contracting company, where he oversaw Layne's Long Island well-drilling operations. He has also worked for large consulting engineering firms Camp Dresser & McKee and Hazen & Sawyer as resident and design engineer for large wastewater treatment plant upgrades.
Mr. Varley is on the Board of Directors for the National Association of Water Companies, New York Chapter, and is a member of the New York Section of American Water Works Association (AWWA) and Long Island Water Conference. He has also offered technical presentations for the Long Island Water Conference, New York Section AWWA, New Jersey Section AWWA, the American Ground Water Trust and the Edwin C. Tifft Jr. Water Supply Symposium in New York.
Mr. Varley holds a bachelor's in civil engineering technology from Rochester Institute of Technology and a New York State Department of Health Grade IB-GW Treatment Plant Water System Operator Certification.

Nick O. Rowe

Nick O. Mr. Rowe joined American Water in 1987 as management assistant at West Virginia American Water. He was subsequently promoted into various management positions with responsibility for the day-to-day operations of American Water facilities in several states including Virginia, West Virginia, Maryland, Pennsylvania, Kentucky, Tennessee, North Carolina, Georgia and Florida.
Mr. Rowe is involved with various regulatory agencies, civic organizations and professional associations and holds board positions with the Lexington Industrial Foundation, Commerce Lexington, and the Central Bank Advisory Board. He also serves on the Executive Board of the Kentucky Chamber of Commerce. Mr. Rowe is also a member of the American Water Works Association and the National Association of water Companies.
In July 2007, the Public Relations Society of America's Thoroughbred Chapter selected Mr. Rowe to receive its Communicator of the Year Award. He was selected for his leadership and open communication in the business.

Kathy L. Pape
President, Pennsylvania American Water
Kathy L. Pape rejoined American Water in July 2007 as president of Pennsylvania American Water, the largest investor-owned water utility in the state, providing high-quality and reliable water and/or wastewater services to more than 2 million people. In this role, Ms. Pape leads customer, regulatory and local government relationships, drives operational and financial results, and is the principal external contact for American Water in Pennsylvania.
Prior to rejoining American Water, Ms. Pape served as senior vice president, treasurer and rate counsel for Aqua America Inc., with responsibility for all financing activities, billing, rates and regulatory filings, budgeting and long-range planning. In this role, she led the company's effort to manage numerous successful rate cases resulting from its growth from a one-state system to 13 states with hundreds of systems, and reduced the company's long-term debt costs, saving the company and rate payers.
From 1994 to 1999, Ms. Pape was employed by American Water as regional counsel and finance manager, where her responsibilities included rates and regulatory affairs, finance, budgeting and customer service for 10 states.
She has also worked as vice president and corporate counsel for General Waterworks Management and Service Co., as assistant counsel to the Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission and as an assistant consumer advocate for the Pennsylvania Office of Consumer Advocate.
Ms. Pape has more than 25 years of experience in the utility industry and is a nationally recognized expert on the water and wastewater industries.
In April 2008, Governor Rendell appointed Pape to the Sustainable Water Infrastructure Task Force. Pape is among 30 task force members from across the state who the Governor selected to address the estimated $20 billion funding shortfall needed to upgrade Pennsylvania's aging and deteriorated water infrastructure.
Active in her community, Ms. Pape dedicated 15 years of service to Whitpain Township as a member and Chair of its Planning Commission and as a member of its Zoning Hearing Board. She also sits on the board of the Economy League of Greater Philadelphia, the Finance Council of the Archdiocese of Philadelphia and the Board of Trustees of Gwynedd Mercy Academy. She is chair of the Pennsylvania Chapter of the National Association of Water Companies, serves on the boards of the Pennsylvania Chamber of Business and Industry and the Pennsylvania Business Council and is a member of the National Regulatory Research Institute Advisory Committee on Water.
Ms. Pape holds a bachelor's degree from Edinboro University, a law degree from Dickinson School of Law and a master's in taxation from Villanova University School of Law.

Wayne Morgan
President, West Virginia American Water
Wayne D. Morgan is president of West Virginia American Water, the largest investor-owned water utility in the state, providing high-quality and reliable water services to approximately 600,000 people. He is the principal contact for American Water in West Virginia and is dedicated to building and maintaining relationships with state and local officials, regulators and customers. Mr. Morgan also works closely with local operating staffs to continue to enhance performance.
Mr. Morgan has more than 25 years of experience in the management, operation, planning, design and construction of water and wastewater systems. Prior to joining American Water, he worked with an engineering consulting firm in Charleston, W.Va., conducting design and construction management of water and wastewater systems facilities in West Virginia and Kentucky. He also served as a section manager in their Washington, D.C. office from 1988 to 1991 and was responsible for providing environmental services in Washington, D.C., Delaware, Maryland, Virginia and West Virginia.
In 1991, Mr. Morgan joined American Water as production superintendent of Central Operations. He held increasingly responsible positions in operations and engineering at West Virginia American Water and in 1994, Mr. Morgan accepted the position of regional manager of Operating Services for American Water Works Service Company, Inc. In this role, he served as vice president of Operations of American Water subsidiaries in Iowa, Kentucky, Long Island, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Missouri, New Hampshire, New York, Ohio, Tennessee and Virginia. In 2006, Mr. Morgan accepted the position of vice president of Service Delivery in the Northeast Region of American Water. Under his leadership, the business operations performed exceptionally well, particularly in environmental and operational compliance.
Mr. Morgan is an active member of several professional organizations, including the American Water Works Association and the National Council for Public and Private Partnerships, for which he served as chairman of the Water Institute in 2002. He served on the Board of the New Jersey Alliance for Action from 2005 to 2007. He was also the American Water System representative for the U.S. Conference of Mayors Business Council in 2000.
Since returning to West Virginia, Mr. Morgan has been active in local economic development organizations. He is a board member of the Charleston Area Alliance, A Vision Shared, Advantage Valley, the West Virginia Chamber of Commerce, the West Virginia Section of American Water Works Association, and a member of the West Virginia Business Roundtable and the Rotary Club of Charleston.
Mr. Morgan received his bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from West Virginia University, and has written and spoken frequently on numerous topics within the water industry. He is a professional engineer registered in West Virginia, Virginia, Maryland and Missouri.

David K. Little
President, Ohio American Water
David K. Little is president of Ohio American Water, which provides high quality and reliable water and/or wastewater services to approximately 200,000 people. In this role, he reinforces and strengthens customer, regulatory and local government relationships, drives operational and financial results and is the principal external contact for American Water in Ohio.
Mr. Little most recently served as general manager for Ohio American Water, serving eight water and one wastewater district across Ohio. Mr. Little joined American Water in 1978 and held various positions in the labor force. In 1985, Mr. Little was promoted to the newly created position of customer service supervisor in the Marion District. In the years to follow, he held increasing responsible positions in the Tiffin District of Ohio American Water and the Richmond District of Indiana American Water.
Mr. Little has been active in and held leadership positions in various environmental and civic organizations throughout his career. Mr. Little has been utilized by American Water Systems, regulatory agencies, civic organizations, and educators to speak and train on a wide variety of topics. He is also an instructor for the Operators Training Committee of Ohio. Mr. Little was elected as Chairman of the National Association of Water Companies, Ohio Chapter in 2006.
Mr. Little holds a master's degree in business administration from Tiffin University and an Ohio EPA Class III Water Supply Operator Certificate.

Frank Kartmann

In his 20 years with the organization, he has served in a number of leadership roles, most notably as vice president of Operations and vice president of Engineering. He also served as director of network operations for American Water's former central region, where he led field operations for six Midwest states.
Mr. Kartmann is a founding member of the Metro Water Infrastructure Partnership, a regional water and wastewater infrastructure education organization based in the St. Louis metro area that has been cited as a national model by the Water Environment Federation. He also serves on the board of the Missouri Energy Development Association and is a member of the American Water Works Association and the National Association of Water Companies.
Mr. Kartmann earned a master's in business administration from Washington University in St. Louis and a bachelor's degree in civil engineering from the University of Missouri, Rolla. He also earned a bachelor's degree in secondary education from the University of Illinois. He is a registered professional engineer, licensed in the state of Missouri.

Randy A. Moore
President, Iowa American Water

For the past three decades, Mr. Moore has used his diverse water utility experience to serve in a variety of leadership roles at American Water operations in Indiana and Ohio. His career began in 1979 as a treatment plant operator in Indiana American Water's Wabash Valley District. He remained at Indiana American Water until 2005, serving in operational management positions of increasing responsibility in the Wabash Valley District, Muncie District and the Northwest Operations headquartered in Gary. In these roles, Moore served as a key contact for 17 different cities and several communities and managed a 300,000 customer water treatment, processing and distribution operation.
In 2005, Mr. Moore briefly left American Water to serve as vice president of operations for Earth Tech, where he oversaw a team of approximately 150 employees who delivered water and wastewater service in the United States and Canada.
Mr. Moore earned his master's of Business Administration from Indiana Wesleyan University and his bachelor's in Business Management from Indiana State University. He has also served as an adjunct professor at Indiana Wesleyan where has he taught classes on management theory and philosophy.
Mr. Moore has been an active member of several professional organizations, including the American Water Works Association and the National Association of Water Companies. He has also served as a trustee for the Marion County (Ohio) United Way and as an executive board member for the Black Heritage Council. John R. Bigelow

John R.
